It’s a New Year!  It’s a New US!  Not only do we have a new website, we have new ideas on how we can better support the family of medicine.  The Nebraska Medical Association Alliance (NMAA) invites you to join us as we restructure not only the leadership of our organization, but our focus as well.  Founded in 1925, the NMA Alliance has a history of Building Healthy Communities across Nebraska. Comprised of physicians’ spouses and physicians themselves, this organization has wholly educational and charitable purposes which allow its members opportunities to directly influence the health of their individual communities and those across the state. As we refocus our eforts, we invite members to enjoy the camaraderie of each other’s company in activities and at meetings.

Attentive to legislative issues, the NMAA stays informed about potential legislative efforts which could impact the practice of medicine in Nebraska and which might affect the quality of patient care or patient access to medical care in Nebraska.  NMAA will continue to match members with their legislators to work together on physician and patient friendly legislation for bettering healthcare in our state.
